Video Review - Western Mountaineering Ultralite 20

UPDATE:  There are a few inaccuracies in this video and the way I worded some of the things that I stated in it.  Please understand that I learned from forum goers and I have annotated this video to reflect what I have learned.  Please view this as a video outlining my choices and the differences between a winter and a summer bag STRICTLY FOR THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL THRU-HIKE starting in March 2011.

  1. Nice review man, can't wait to hear how it does in the field.

  2. Nice review. I tried squeezing into an UltraLight one time, just a little snug for me. However, my Marmot Helium is a very high quality bag and is actually rated to 16 so I am good with a bag in that temp range. In the future I will be getting a truer "winter" bag and I am torn between the WM Antelope or Kodiak (MF) or the Nunatak quilts. Quilts are simply awesome. Anyway, great choice with the WM, definitely cannot go wrong there. Top notch.

  3. Thanks stick13. I have watched just about all of your youtube channel. It is nice to see a progression from where we used to be and where we are now. I am still trying to get base weight where it is sensible without sacrificing comfort.

Thanks for the support to all...
